Marinade for steaks Méline’s Chilli Sauce


  • 2 Beef steaks (which ever type takes your fancy eg; sirloin, rib, fillet, ect)

  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed

  • 50ml olive oil (not extra virgin as it will burn)

  • 50ml Sesame oil

  • 20ml Soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons of Méline’s Chilli Sauce (or as much as you like depending on how spicy you would like it)


This recipe is great if your in a rush, and you still want to eat something delicious and exciting or if you have a little more time, and you would like to prepare something special, ready for next day.

  1. Put the oils and the soy sauce into a bowl, add two teaspoons of Méline’s chilli sauce, stir well. Now add two cloves of garlic, and again stir well.

  2. Take the two steaks dab them with kitchen paper to remove any excess juices. Now get ready a dish with sides to hold the marinade, pour half of the marinaded into the dish.

  3. Place in the steaks and now pour the rest of the marinade on top and rub it in a little.

  4. If you like you can leave the steaks in the marinade for as little as half an hour or even better over night depending on how much time you have.

  5. When you come to cooking the steaks, just take them out and place straight into a hot pan with a small amount of veg oil. Then cook them until your desired cooking (best served rare to medium)

  6. Once they are cooked to your liking pour the rest of the marinade into the pan take off the heat and glaze the steaks in there own juices.

Serve the the steaks straight away and well Please Enjoy.
