Super Simple Marinade For Steaks
Méline’s Chilli Sauce
This recipe is great if you're in a rush but you still want to eat something delicious and exciting, so easy, so tasty 😋
2 Beef steaks or 1 large for two (whichever type takes your fancy eg; sirloin, rib, fillet, etc)
4 teaspoons of Méline’s Chilli Sauce (or as much as you like depending on how spicy you would like it)
Take the steaks or the steak out of the fridge dab them with kitchen paper to remove any excess juices.
Now get a dish or a plate ready, place the steaks onto it put two tsp of Chilli sauce on top, and gently rub it in.
Turn the steaks over and put another 2 tsp of Chilli sauce on top, and gently rub it in again.
Place cling film on top of the steak and press down gently to remove any air bubbles as this will help draw the Chilli sauce all over the steaks and marinade them even better.
Put the steaks into the fridge to marinade.
If you like you can leave the steaks in the marinade for as little as half an hour but we do recommend 6 hours if you do have time, but this is not strictly necessary.
When you come to cooking the steaks, just take them out and place them straight into a hot pan as there will be enough oil in the marinade to cook the steaks in.
Then just simply cook them until your desired cooking (best served rare to medium)
Once they are cooked place the steaks on the side and leave to rest for 5 mins. This is so very important as the steaks will become more tender and some juices will come out and mix with the Chilli sauce to make an amazing dressing.
Serve the steaks straight away and well,, Please Enjoy
